It is $2,500 per day.
For most debit cardholders that receive their paycheck on a bi-monthly or monthly timeframe, this will mean $2,500 per deposit.
For context, a $2,500 net-deposit into an account after-tax is equivalent to an $80,000 annualized salary in most U.S. states. This will comfortably make this feature available for the vast majority of your users. We need to have this limit in place to prevent fraud and identity theft. We are working with our partners to increase this $2,500 limit for the future.
If a cardholder makes over the $2,5000 limit on a net basis, and they attempt to deposit it into the debit card account, the deposit will be rejected. For example, if they make $100,000 in Wichita, Kansas, their net paycheck would be approximately $2,900 each pay period. They will need to split their deposit amongst two bank accounts for it be accepted - e.g. $2,500 to the Hydrogen debit card, and $400 to another bank account. This splitting is supported at every major payroll provider.
