Consumer Cards - Analytics
Due to U.S. data privacy laws (e.g. CCPA), consumer funded cards will have the following analytics restrictions at the business level:

Available Data

Aggregate level analytics data that cannot be tied back to a user (e.g. Your cardholders spent $100 today at Starbucks) can be retrieved from our API.

- Restricted Data

All card transactional data that can be directly connected to a cardholder name, including merchant, location, amount, categories, is not allowed to be viewed by a business (unless the business is funding and using the cards). e.g. You cannot view John Smith's spending at Starbucks.

Please note: We allow exemptions to this rule for select customers with custom programs that are legally obligated to be able to view this data (e.g. regulated entities). Please contact your customer success manager if you wish to apply for an exemption.
Individual cardholders will be able to view this data on their own card (e.g. John Smith can log into a Hydrogen white label app, and view their own spending at Starbucks).
Consumer Cards - Card Data
Due to PCI restrictions, you will not be able to access the following card data:
- Available Data

Mask (the last 4 digits of the card number) and expiration date (e.g. 05/2025) of the card

- Restricted Data

Full PAN (card number) and CVV2 of card (three digit security code on back of the card)

Social Security Number

Date of Birth

Individual cardholders will be able to view this data on their own card (e.g. John Smith can log into a Hydrogen white label app using their password and 2FA, then view their full PAN and CVV2).
